🚨 Breaking Interview: Alex Heath of The Verge talks about his process, the biggest names in tech, and the future of media
This week on the Taking Inventory podcast we were joined by Alex Heath, Deputy Editor for The Verge and author of Command Line, a weekly newsletter about the tech industry’s inside conversation. Alex is one of the most recognized names in tech reporting. He broke the Facebook’s rebrand to Meta new, worked on the New York Magazine cover story about Elon Musk’s takeover at Twitter, and his reporting on Facebook was used by Congress.
On the podcast Alex talks about his approach to building trust with the biggest leaders in tech, a combination of real human connection with a healthy dose of challenging them. It’s not a total suprise then why he lands exclusive interviews like like Mark Zuckerberg on Meta’s AI reorg and Sam Altman discussing the OpenAI fire-to-rehire saga.
If you’re interested in tech, new media, or the business of reporting, then give this episode a listen. Listen, follow, and give us a 5-star rating on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
